Jacqui Dunn

Jacqui Dunn is a seasoned Social Worker with extensive experience in child protection and medical social work. Her career began in 2010 at the Department of Social Development, where she focused on child protection until 2016, holding intermittent managerial roles. She earned her Master's degree in Social Work with a specialisation in marriage in 2017. From 2016 to 2017, Dunn contributed to Child Welfare South Africa, working closely with Early Childhood Development Centres. Her role evolved into Office Manager and Supervisor at Child Welfare South Africa, Kraaifontein, from 2017 to 2019. In April 2019, she transitioned to the role of Medical Social Worker at Dube and Pottas. Her interest in sexual health led her to join the Sexology Training Club in 2021. In May 2022, Dunn took on the role of Medical Social Worker for Life Riverfield Lodge. Her private practice focuses on individual stress and well-being management, chronic illness, mindfulness training, bereavement, trauma counselling, and art therapy. She also provides premarital counselling, couples counselling, marriage enrichment, and support groups for couples. Additionally, in 2022, she became a member of My Sexual Health. Dunn's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work obtained in 2009 and a Master's degree in Social Work with a theme in marriage.
